Don Lulo's Nauyaca Falls Horseback Tour
This fantastic tour takes you to the breathtaking Nauyaca Falls on horseback. Starting at 8:00 AM, you trek through the jungle on horseback for 45 minutes to Don Lulo's home for breakfast and photo ops with tame toucans and macaws. Following that is a half-hour trip by horse to the Nauyaca Falls, where you can swim in the pools or jump from the falls. Upon returning to Don Lulo's home, you are served an excellent lunch, then led back to the starting point. The tour lasts six hours and costs $40 per person.
Hacienda Baru
Hacienda Baru is a wildlife refuge offering three tours. The Flight of the Toucan is a zipline tour consisting of 8 ziplines that carry you from tree to tree across canopy and canyon floors.
Cano Island
Caņo Island is situated 20 kilometers off the Osa peninsula. Once used as a pre-Colombian cemetary, the island now offers some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling in Costa Rica.
The island is surrounded by five platforms of low coral reefs. Skin Diver magazine has rated the site as among the best in the world and one of the newest hot spots for adventure diving. This virgin area offers a variety of unique diving attractions, from 15 - 16' reefs to 80' walls. The rock formations are volcanic origins; sea fans, cup coral, head corals are the most common. Marine life consists of sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, stingrays, morays, and huge snapper and grouper. There are a variety of tour companies offering tours to Cano Island, most of them are day-long excursions.

Confusiones
Located at Domilocos at the southern end of Dominical, Confusiones is one of the premier restaurants in Dominical, serving outstanding Italian food in a romantic, open-air setting.
La Parcella
La Parcella combines the best seafood in the area with stunning vistas. Located on a peninsula at the southern end of Playa Dominicalito, La Parcella is a two-minute drive from Costa Paraiso.
Coconut Spice
Wedged in the back of Pueblo del Rio in Dominical is a small restaurant with amazing Thai food. The decor at Coconut Spice is rustic, but the food is exceptional.
Cuna del Angel
Ten minutes south of Costa Paraiso is Cuna del Angel, a beautiful restaurant with a gourmet menu... a perfect fine dining experience. Don't miss the aguacate rolls with peanut sauce!
Exotica
It may look like a common soda, but Exotica is arguably the best restaurant in the Costa Ballena area. The food is fantastic and the prices are very affordable. Exotica is located 20 minutes south of Costa Paraiso in Ojochal.
La Choza de Alejo
On the way from San Isidro to Dominical, make sure you stop at La Choza de Alejo for the best mexican food around. Just outside of Platanillo, 20 minutes from Dominical, you can dine on great food beside a waterfall, served to you by Alejo himself - an outstanding host and all-around great guy.
San Clemente
Located in the heart of Dominical, San Clemente offers excellent Mexican food. A favorite gathering spot for locals, this restaurant and bar is the place to be on Friday nights, and a good place to find lunch when wandering around Dominical.
Tortilla Flats
When you are hanging out on Dominical beach, Tortillas Flats is the place to grab lunch and refreshments. You can watch the surfers ride the waves while eating authentic Costa Rican fare on the cheap. You haven't experienced Dominical until you've visited Torilla Flats.
